Australia Post Shipping Delay

13 October 2021 Update 

Australia Post is back in action and collecting orders from our Melbourne Warehouse. So far, despatch times are not impacted. 

We have noticed that transit times (Australia Post delivery times) are experiencing a slight delay.

Covid is impacting transit times, so, your order may take longer to be delivered than normal. 

What should I do if my order is taking a while to be delivered?

Right now, just wait.

Please allow 10 business days before contacting us about your order. Australia Post is picking up orders, we are not experiencing any additional "Lost In Transit" parcels, and nothing is going wrong. If there are no updates on your Tracking Link, although strange, this is also normal during this time. 

Australia Post are inundated with work and are taking longer to process parcels. 

 

30 September 2021 Update

Our Australian despatch and shipping times have been impacted by Australia Post's recent "pause on pickups and collections" update.

Australia Post will be pausing collections and lodgements from eCommerce retailers across Greater Melbourne Metro, for five days. 

Start: 12.01am Friday 1 October (AEST) 

End: 12.01am Wednesday 6 October (AEST) 

This pause impacts us, as our warehouse is located within the Greater Melbourne Metro region, and is classified as an "eCommerce retailer".

Impact to orders

This means that any orders placed between Thursday 30 September to Wednesday 6 October will not be despatched until Australia Post re-start collections and lodgements. 

Realistically, and from our experience, a five-day pause will result in a 3-5 day "catch up" period. This extends the impact to orders placed up until Monday 11 October—which may not be despatched until after Monday 11 October. 

These orders may also experience longer transit times, as Australia Post manages a massive amount of deliveries.  

What to expect when ordering

So, when placing orders on our Australian Website, please be mindful that orders placed between Thursday 30 September to Monday 11 October will experience despatch and shipping delays.
