The mounted tent rear panel has an aluminium channel at the rear which allows M6 bolts to slide into. These bolts can be positioned at any point along the full length of the extrusion and when tightened with the included nyloc nut, hold the tent in place.
Each mounted tent includes L-brackets which should suit installation with most roof rack systems.
The L-brackets will mount to your roof rack using a similar channel system to the extrusion on the tent itself. Make sure to position the L-brackets as close to the swing out arm of the tent as possible to avoid the arms sagging when the tent is set up.
Once installed, the tent is designed to be left attached to the roof racks during transit.
