Learn how to recirculate water back into your HOTTAP.
You need to fill the ENSUITE Shower Base with a minimum of 5L (1.32 Gal) to be able to recirculate water.

Connect a hose to the ENSUITE Shower Base
You only need to use one of the water fittings to drain your grey water. So, install the water blocker to one of the fittings, and then attach your drainage hose to the other fitting.
Install a filter inside the ENSUITE Shower Base
To avoid any debris entering your pump or HOTTAP, you can install a filter inside the ENSUITE Shower Base.
To do so, simply install (via quick-connect) a suitable filter. If you have the HOTTAP Outing or HOTTAP Nomad, the included Joolca filter is perfect.
Connect the hose to your HOTTAP
You will need to install your pump in between the ENSUITE Shower Base and your HOTTAP, so that you can draw water out of the ENSUITE Shower Base and then supply it into the HOTTAP.
Fill your ENSUITE Shower Base with a minimum of 5L of water
Fill your ENSUITE Shower Base with a minimum of 5L (1.32 Gal) of water. This is the minimum amount of water needed to be able to recirculate back into the HOTTAP. As time goes on, and as you lose water to splashing and evaporation, you will need to top up the water level.
The ENSUITE Shower Base can hold up to 25L (6.6 Gal) of water. So you can fill it up with 25L (6.6 Gal) of water and recirculate it back into the HOTTAP.
Note: The filter should be completely submerged for the pump to recirculate water successfully. If you find that 5L is not enough, it's a good idea to add more water to make sure the filter is completely submerged.
